I stayed home to see if the dentist could take me today. They cannot take me til tomorrow so I am heading into work for the afternoon. Why waste the sick time. I will need it tomorrow, depending on what happens with this dental issue. Sorry I am not saying but no full disclosure here.

My slice of happiness was sleeping late and snuggling with my little feline here. That was very nice. Extra time is nice. (4)

Moan-worthy.

*woke up
*felt exhausted
*called in sick
*slept lots more

Good things that happened:
*slept lots
*puttered
*uploaded all my pics which I will share with you later
*ran necessary errands
*caught up on things
*going out for mexican tonight

The can is up and the post is open. Put in your nickel and lay it on me. I am listening.

It is Monday morning and yes it is a workday. Here are the slippers as promised. You can also see a bit of the new carpet on the floor. *nod nod*

I am off to face the world. Gah.

It was one of those mornings where I had the running dialogue in my head debating whether or not to call in sick or not. I really, really wanted to call in sick but then realized I had lunch plans with some friends and a personnel meeting that I could not miss. So that clinched it. I did the responsible thing and went to work.

The day is not so bad. Quiet, tame, no cataclysmic happenings. I am even writing my elves and getting caught up with that. So la la la.

Lunch will be chinese food and I have my personnel review this afternoon. *bites nails* Ack. I hope that goes well.

No real point to this post just the Monday thing.

So I get up bright eyed and bushy tailed, have my coffee and tend all the animals at the house I am watching and take myself down to the good ole DMV. I have gotten Noldor3 all smogged and need to make it official. REGISTER THE CAR. I also had some paperwork to do on my old clunker....make it a non-operating car. So way I go.
