Post lunch blissful zoning in progress. My boss, the Associate Dean took our award program project team to lunch to celebrate the success of that venture this year sooo....

Reporting.

Location: Downtown Rest
Conversation: Flowed easily and was really fun.

I had:
Salad starter: greens with light vinaigrette
Entree: Risotto wit peas and tenderloin pork*
Dessert: Pot de creme
Accompanied: Coke with meal and coffee with dessert

Really nice. I don't know when I turned into such a foodie but I guess that happens when you do the event thing.

*sounds like a bad combination but it was really good AND they topped it with watercresses that made it really nice.

It is the end of the week, last day, Freitag, Vendredi, Viernes....um um....well you get the picture. I just do not feel like working either. I have been trawling for iconz here and checking LJ incessantly. Seems like everyone is awayyyyyyyyyyyy. Well hoot. Best check my games tooooooooo. Heh.

I am going to be here this weekend. I have no plans. Lots o free time. I am going to BBQ with friends on Monday, go swimming at the pewl and maybe catch a movie sometime during the weekend. I have lots of house projects to catch up on and want to do a good cleaning of the ponderosa.

I also have some writing I want to get done. I made a nifty excel spreadsheet of all my story ideas and I have FOUR count em four ideas in my head. That is good. I was worried that I only had one story in me but if this keeps up, I will have lots to write about. The spreadsheet has a summary page for the short synopsis of each story and then will have a page for the detailed outline of each idea. I am so thrilled with my organizational genius! I have only done the summary page so far and a little bit on one of the outlines but hey...it is something. At least I have the ideas somewhere. *nods*

So it is quiet as all get out here at the Uni. The students have all flown....summer session has started and the streets of Bezerkeley are practically deserted. Summer can be like that here in a University town. Much quieter and parking gets easier. I like it really. We get our town back in a lot of ways. I noticed when I came home last night that there was parking right in front of my house and that *never* happens. So it means that people are away for the weekend and it is clearing out for the summer. It will be mellow for a few months here.

It has been 11:15 am for about 30 minutes now. It is doing that time slows down thing again today. Gawds. Today will never end. I feel a stream of consciousness post coming on. Endless updates.

The first issue facing me really is what to have for lunch. Hmmm. I had a salad yesterday. Pizza last night. Hmmm. Perplexing. What to do? *ponders the existential significance of the lunch question*

Alright. Gotta go for a bit. I am sure I will be back. I am sure you are all excited about that. I can see you are. Check back soon. I am sure there will be more.

I ate a meatball sub slathered in tomato sauce and cheeze for lunch. Thank you Quiznos. Yummety yum yum. So bad, yet so good.

We get to leave early. 4:00pm. Thank the powers that be here. They have answered my prayers.

Found some lovely Heath Ledger icons. Aegnor will be much improved. He looks all cute and messy in these.

3:49pm: I have 11 long minutes to go. keiliss has posted her "bite me" icon here and my life as we know it is complete. *hoots* I love that icon. It is just so....well you know.

My plans for the evening have cancelled and that is perfectly fine with me. I feel a nap in my future. Have to go food shopping and want to snooze for a bit. La la la.

T-minus 7 minutes and counting. Gotta get ready. I will try and post this weekend so y'all know what I am up to.
