I found cool chairs at Home Depot and I am going to make an outside seated area in my yard so I can read outside and sip a cool beverage. This sounds great to me. I want to make use of the outdoor space here at my house. La.

I got tons of things done today. Everything that I wanted to do and I had amazing sushi, the most amazing sushi. It was awesome. I did just what I wanted and that was good. A thoroughly satisfying day. :D

I got tons of things done today. Everything that I wanted to do and I had amazing sushi, the most amazing sushi. It was awesome. I did just what I wanted and that was good. A thoroughly satisfying day. :D

Clear sailing and on to vacation. I am almost done here at work and I will be off for two weeks.
*shimmy* Happy me.

I am feeling much better now and doing great. I just checked the weather through the weekend on my points of travel and it seems like I am flying through two snowstorms.

Today's happiness...
Dec. 18th, 2008 09:31 pmToday: My fear's were really nothing and that was a good thing.
I had to go to the doctor to have something checked out and feared the worst but found out that it was only something I ate. So good news there. I have good access to health care and was able to handle this without going to the emergency room and I could have the tests run by my doctor's office. A bottle of Mylanta and then I have to check in there.
So glad.
Tomorrow is my last day of work and then I am on vacation. I am really ready to be done. I am aggravated by my co-workers and all the work feels like it is falling on me. Time to share the load. I sent an email about the priority project before I left this evening and suggested a way that we could ALL get it done. I am so not doing it all by myself. I was nice about it but my message was clearly, we all pitch in and help out on it. Grrrr.
Okies. Getting back to my happy place. My happy place. My happy place.

Today's happiness...
Dec. 17th, 2008 07:26 pmWe had our holiday party for our small office today. Our Dean took us to lunch at the local hotel. All I could manage to eat was the macaroni and cheese there but oh la la, they made it spicy and good. The company was really enjoyable and dessert was this espresso chocolate pudding thing which was so yummerful.

A well heated apartment on a cold and stormy night. Cozily in my jammies and hanging around.
Dental issue is resolved. I have a serious infection which is now being treated by a round of antibiotics and I had surgery today. That is about all I feel up to saying. I got excellent care and the surgeon had a great sense of humor. A real laugh.
All set here. Thank you for the lovely comments. I am recuperating here at home. It was stressful but done with for now.

Soo....Moanday
Dec. 15th, 2008 10:43 amI stayed home to see if the dentist could take me today. They cannot take me til tomorrow so I am heading into work for the afternoon. Why waste the sick time. I will need it tomorrow, depending on what happens with this dental issue. Sorry I am not saying but no full disclosure here.
My slice of happiness was sleeping late and snuggling with my little feline here. That was very nice. Extra time is nice. (4)

Today's small happiness-I have good friends to be with and fun plans.
