I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone here for the birthday wishes and greetings - messages, v-gifts and banners. I definitely felt the love on my birthday. It is always such a thrill to check LJ on my birthday and read all the messages that people leave. Thank you! Thank you!

Here is the birthday report - I took the day off and did just what I wanted. I relaxed over endless cups of coffee. Went to Bakesale Betty's for my favorite sandwich and cookie. Took a long and glorious three-hour nap in the afternoon and then opened some gifts in the evening. Not all that exciting but it was just what I wanted to do. I have one more celebration with friends coming up this weekend so woot.

I want to thank everyone on my flist for the birthday messages, too numerous to specify and the gifts, v-gifts and personal messages. Really great and heart warming! It is so great to log in here and have all that waiting for you on your birthday. I feel the love! Thanks a million.

In other news...
I got my nails done yesterday and did some laundry in the morning. I did go to my favorite burger place last night and out for gelato for my actual birthday dinner. That was really nice. Today is more laundry and I might go for a hike today or at least a nice long walk. Get some exercise.

I received some holiday gifts and things while I was away on the East Coast and I have been remiss about acknowledging them here on my journal. Many thanks to my friends who sent the lovelies listed below. I was greeted with packages and cards upon my return and it made it such a nice homecoming and just seemed to lengthen my holiday cheer.
