I was looking for Scots because of a project for [livejournal.com profile] keiliss and this lovely pic came up. I think it is a pretty well known bun shot but it is perfect for Bunday today. Buns in kilt.. ) Thems nice, hmm? I will post about the show next time. Been a busy weekend.

Alas and alack...had a busier day than I planned but thanks to [livejournal.com profile] tuxedo_elf we have a Bunday Special. Buns of Iron. This was from a trip she took to Germany...*giggle* She took this photo her very self. I think this tush is nice...not very squeezable but shapely...heh..

Here be the buns.... )

I took a piccie of my slippers. I will post that later when I get organized. I had the worst morning today. I woke up and thought it was a work day...for long enough that I called into the office because I thought I was late and took a shower to go to work. It was in the middle of the shower that I finally realized that indeed it was Sunday. Augh. I had to call my boss's number and leave her a message telling her what an idiot I was. Sheesh. *blush*

Anyhoo. Here are the buns. Over and out.
phyncke: (Flanery Close Your Eyes)
So since it is the last one of 2006, I thought I would pick a really good one. Plus I just bought Dieux Du Stade on Amazon with my handy gift certificate. *does the happy pervy dance* Weee.

Oh la la...here is a man for you... )

I have a New Year's piccie to post later. So this is not my last post of the day. But I thought I would get Bunday out to you all in good time. I know how you like to see these thingzzz.

*hugs to you all*
phyncke: (Flanery Close Your Eyes)
So super friends. I have not forgotten, I have just been out all day. Bunday continues. Two for one special here. Heh. This is the work of Dylan Ricci, art photographer. These guys are definitely art.

Kmart, two for one special.. )

I have begun the Christmasification of my apartment. More later.

So I am off on the holiday. I will not be on the computer for the next few days. *goes through withdrawal*

I have some elves to share thanks to [livejournal.com profile] jaiden_s. Or pics that I fantasize are elves. Just to leave you with some fun images. Have a great time all of you and I will catch up with you all on Sunday.

Feanor )

And his brother and my favorite....

Fingolfin )

Neither of these were drawn as elves but I think they work well for the Brothers Finwe. So there you go. Let me know what you think of these.

Gobble.

#22: Thanks to all of you for reading my journal. I really appreciate your comments and friendship.

Yeehaw....

I like my buns in a hat and boots. Yessem, I do.

Cowboy buns... )

It is Sunday here, Monday in the southern hemi. Both of those re Bunday to the general public. Time for the buns. This is a John Falocco photo that I stole from somewhere but I feel that he is a fine figure of a man. Hummena.

Oh you beauty...come here.. )

Worth it, eh?

In other news. I used my espresso machine for the first time and made a spectacular latte here. Oh la la. It came out great and I managed not to burn myself on the steaming thing. Yay me.
phyncke: (Nice Sweater)
Rushing here but it is BUNDAY! Must post one! Or two todays. Slashy one for you! This is a Herb Ritts photo. I steal. I will admit it but I do credit where I can.

Enjoy all of you. I think this is a very lovely one.

Two for one special... )

Hummena.

So I am a long tall drink of water, as my mother would say. I am wearing these new shooz and they make me taller. I am normally 5'9 and these add two inches to my height so I am 5'11 right now. That makes me almost SIX FEET TALL! *gasp* I am a freaking amazon.

So here is a pic of the shooz. I took it in NH so this counts as a vacation photo!

Oh the clogs you will clog... )

It is fun being taller than most people. *struts around*
phyncke: (Temescal Peace)
So I was going to stay home today and clean the ponderosa and be a really good dooby. Was going to write too. Well cha. It was nice out and I got coraled into going to the lake that is right up the road. We took a little day jaunt to Lake Temescal in Oakland. Now this is the lake that had damage from the hill fire a few years back and had been filled with debris from the burnt trees. Well it is all clear now and absatively bootiful.

You've got it...piccies! )

So then I thought the one piccie of the lake was so cool that I made an icon. Kind of cool how it came out. I played with the effects and exposure a little. Neato.

So end of picspam for the day. It was a nice weekend and am just chilling now. I am getting that pre-workaday melancholy. Que triste. *sigh*
phyncke: (Marilyn Monroe Oh My)
So the network sponsors have rescheduled Sunday. *coughs* Erm, I mean I have changed the day. It was too hard to remember in Mondays so I have moved it to Sundays. Here is the offline ping that started it all.

Sunday, August 26, 2006. Over Coffee to Someone Overseas Who Was Not Even There to Know How Brilliant I Was!
Me: bunday...rhymes with sunday
Me: *hmmm* an idea emerges.
Me: I hereby and forthwith do dub Sunday...Bunday....*waves magic furry wand with sparklies on it that I really have*
Me: *wears tiara*
Me: It is official.

I won't tell you who that was to but I harrass them with all my brilliance and they have a brilliant buns icon. Or two....

So [livejournal.com profile] perseph2hades posted the French rugby team book photos recently and there are some delectable bun shots in there. Here is one for you viewing pleasure. The photographer's name is Francois Rousseau and these are just stunning photos. The book is called Locker Room Nudes: Dieux due Stade: Te French National Rugby Team. I am so getting that when I get back from vacation. So getting it. And thanks to [livejournal.com profile] jaiden_s for the hook up. She sent the hot link ovah!

Rawrrrrr... )

These mens are drop dead, knock down....wow.

And lest we forget. Dudesday is on Tuesday.
phyncke: (phyncke)
If I drank that is certainly not what I would have. My beer of preference was always Bass Ale actually. Full bodied but still light enough. Yep yep yep.

So I do not know if I told you, but I have been house sitting in the Oakland Hills this week. Friends went to Oregon and I am in charge of their house. They have a nice spread and many animules so it is an undertaking. I got to drive Noldor3 back and forth to work each day and it is sooo quiet here. Really nice actually. They are due back on Sunday so I get most of the weekend to relax. My gato is fine. I know you worry too. I stop and see her each evening and have some quality time with her. She says hello.

Pics? Why yes! Funny you should ask. Just a few.

Home away from home... )

For those who do not understand "phyncke speak", here are some translations.

nog=dog
gato=cat
animules=animals
*bleep*=expletive not for delicate sensibilities
Noldor3=piece of shit Ford Tempo with delusions of grandeur
tinky=stinky as termed by [livejournal.com profile] jaiden_s *giggle*

Heh.

Yes the icon is me. Another show all pic. *grin*
Oh and I got loads of laundry done. I mean LOTS.
phyncke: (Berkeley)
So it was a typical mid-week blah until I decided to go to the Roach Coach. Yep, that's right. The divey little mexican stand in front of my building here at work. They have kick ass food and awesome enchiladas verde with no payback later. Mm mm mm.

In the interest of chronicling every little miniscule moment of my life, I took piccies for ya. I KNOW you want to see them.

Roadside delights... )

And [livejournal.com profile] larian: I will post the piccies of that car. I just need to get my *bleep* together. Heh. I am so behind in my picspam.

Word.
phyncke: (San Francisco Bridge)
So it was to the burger joint in Oakland and like the true historian/blogger I am, I took pictures. Just a few. I have to use the little camera.

Chez Sparky of Oakland )

Man. I am so glad tomorrow is Wednesday. This week seems to be going at a slow crawl. Thanks for looking and this is yet another slice of the happening California Lifestyle. Heh. OK. Some people do classier things. Let's call this Phyncke's California Lifestyle. I take you to all the best places, don't I?

*grin*
phyncke: (Foggy Landscape)
I woke up at 5:30 this morning which is one hour before my alarm. I looked out the window and it was foggy....wonderfully beautifully foggy. The marine layer is back and the hills were shrouded in mist and fog. So eery and calm. It was downright cold. I had snuggle under my comforter by morning so I must have felt that during the night. I love this.

I took some piccies from the kitchen window so you could get a feel for what the fog looks like. I love how it is here on mornings like this. So quiet and peaceful and cool. Ahhh. Fog City baby....

Fog City morning...5:30 am )

I also got a really cool new shirt. I call it my SF shirt. It has a picture of the bridge and a trolley on it. I am wearing it RIGHT NOW. He he he. It is supposed to get hot later so I am probably going to roast here but I could not wait to wear it.

Nifty shirt... )

And one last thing...I thought you all should see where I work from each day when on the computer, well from home at least. So here is a picture of my very messy office, computer and all.

The LJ nerve center... )

Th-th-th-th that's all folks!
