So today we went to the Oakland Zoo. I did not get any good pics with my phone so no pictorial essay to share. I do have a cool factoid that I learned at the zoo.

For dinner we used a group on coupon at my neighborhood Indian-Nepali restaurant, Mount Everest. Fabulous meal and wish I had done what khylea did and ordered the most expensive entree on the menu. We got an appetizer and two entrees with our coupon and I did not figure out that I could have gotten anything. Silly me. I did love my meal though- the tikka masala. Love that.

Fun day in the local vacation here in California. Not missing work. LOL.

If I drank that is certainly not what I would have. My beer of preference was always Bass Ale actually. Full bodied but still light enough. Yep yep yep.

So I do not know if I told you, but I have been house sitting in the Oakland Hills this week. Friends went to Oregon and I am in charge of their house. They have a nice spread and many animules so it is an undertaking. I got to drive Noldor3 back and forth to work each day and it is sooo quiet here. Really nice actually. They are due back on Sunday so I get most of the weekend to relax. My gato is fine. I know you worry too. I stop and see her each evening and have some quality time with her. She says hello.
