A first entry....

I would like to thank esteliel for my dream width code and the generous donation of that for my journal here.

I have no idea what to post here but this is my first effort at that.

I just wanted to let people know that I am on dream width now as phyncke. Feel free to check me out over there. My site is under construction and I cannot promise updates over there as much as here but I do think I will use it for different content. I think I will cross post fics there.

DW Styles and Customization...

So I was playing with the layouts and trying to figure out headers. All of the canned layouts for free accounts do not allow headers or background images but I went to the DW styles comm which is here:

And found out that the core2 testing layout allows use of header images, background and other images with layouts. It is very bare bones so you have to do a lot of programming with that one. I am not using that right now, but once I design my banner, I will use that one to put it in here.

I thought that might help people as they design their spaces here. For me it is a matter of figuring out how to get the look that I want here.
