Beautified....
Feb. 17th, 2007 10:59 pmWent to the beauty parlour today. Got a dye and cut. Yep yep. I get the best deal in town as I go to the latino shop and they have wicked cheap prices. The color is outstanding and my colorist does just what I want...nice, rich, dark color. My old person used to lighten it too much and did not listen. Dark, I want it dark.

Now I know I look a little bit like Eric Estrada from CHIPS there but go with it. Look at the hair not the sunglasses. Heh. At least it is not another turtle shot.
In other news.
I went shopping at Homes Despot, Homes Desperate...otherwise known as Home Depot. Man that place is overwhelming. I spent most of my time in plantzzz as I find that area serene and peaceful. Then I lounged in the patio furniture and had a little nap. I am lucky they did not think me a vagrant. O.o
Later we had burgers and I took myself off to my own abode.
Here I sit...talking to you at close to midnight. *hugs* Bed for me.
Tomorrow: Bunday!!!! *jungle sounds*

Moments on Saturday...what day is it?
Feb. 10th, 2007 11:44 amSo I had the moment of abject terror thinking it was a weekday this morning. Thought I had forgot to set the alarm and I had 5 minutes to get to work. That settled out and I realized it was in fact, Saturday. What is this all about? I dunno.
Spending the morning online looking for the sparklies. I have found some lovely animated files. This is my new thing. I love the animated thingzzzz. I am learning how to edit and play with these files so you will probably see some icons and stuff from me soon.
Time for breakfast...erm lunch. Think I will do the full on thing. Eggs, toast, bacon...the werks. Then I have to run some errands...do the banking and laundry thing.
It is raining but I have to go out there.
Tomorrow's post will be a Bunday thing. So keep an eye out.

Feb. 3rd, 2007 08:37 amIt is Saturdag here in Berkeley and I actually have something interesting to do today. Something cultural and something kind of swank. Aside from sitting here in disarray and sipping coffee all day not getting anything done.
Today I am going to the good, old fashioned theater in Broadway style. I am going to a musical. It is called The Jersey Boys and has been playing on Broadway for a while. We (me and 2 friends from work) got tickets ages ago, spending scads of money and decided to treat ourselves to this. It is the story of the rise to fame of Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons and the music is his actual music and promises to be incredibly good. We are going to a matinee so we don't have to get all that dressy. We are BART-ing it into the city and then coming back to the East Bay for a bite to eat after. A real treat. Weeee.

Did I say cut it short?
Aug. 26th, 2006 02:06 pmWell. La la la. Here I am on Saturday and the doo is done. Went to the new place and got color and stuff. I got it cut WICKED short, as they would say in Boston. Took one of those self portraits with the camera-phone thingie for you all to see. So here it is.

That is all for now. There is some big faire in the park here so I am vacating the premises. It is all loud and shit. Heading for the hills. I think we are going for Chinese food later in Oakland's China Town. Should be nice. The food is always good there.
