I made this today and thought I would share it. This doll is so very Aegnor to me. He kills it!











I just love him! His hair could be a little spikier but it pretty much works. Sharp Flame, the Fell Fire! Font is Ringbearer to keep with the Tolkien theme.

Not taking requests, I am just sharing what I made. Please don't ask for this one.

Summary: The elves are encamped at Mithrim just after Fingolfin arrives in Middle Earth. Aegnor is peeved at being called cousin and Glorfindel resolves the issue.
Warnings: Kissing elves and slash implied.

Don’t Call Me Cousin

“Cousin, come over here! Join us as we…”

As we what, Aegnor wondered. Plan mayhem? Well, he liked a bit of chaotic fun, enough for some and more than enough for many.

This cousin thing. It really depended on who was calling him “cousin.” Now when it was Aredhel, very high and mighty with her superior tone, he tended to react with all the force of his character and send her off skirts a-whirl to her father. Shortly thereafter some consequence was usually laid down by Fingolfin, and Aegnor would barely withstand the impact of that lightning storm.

“Cousin…” A firm hand on his shoulder roused him from his musings. “Did you not hear me just then?

“I did not know you spoke to me. There are many cousins about and others can claim that kinship with you.” He waved a hand towards Fingon as an example. “And, they all call me cousin so it is nothing special, and as we are more distantly related…”

Glorfindel nodded as understanding formed at the source of discomfit. He could see the frown on Aegnor’s face.

“You would prefer it if I used your name in address… Aikanáro.” He softly rolled the last syllable to accent it.

“That would do, yes.” A small smile formed on Aegnor’s lips.

“Well then, I will.” Glorfindel pulled his cousin behind the nearest tree, kissing him soundly to remove all trace of unhappiness from his countenance.

Story length: Double drabble
Summary: A father worries about his daughter.

“Nothing good will come of this.” Her father sat troubled at the table as his daughter yet again left the house for a walk with the elven noble. She fairly skipped from the room, light of foot as Aegnor bid her parents farewell with the promise that he would return her shortly after the sunset.

“Boromir, he is a good, kind person. Brave by all accounts, a skilled warrior.”

“He is not of our kind. It cannot be. And he should neaten his hair.” The elf’s short blond hair stood in all directions.

“My father did not like you either.”

The man slouched in moody silence, staring into the candle, upset by a foreshadowed tragedy he felt powerless to prevent. His wife pressed her hand to his, a comfort in that small gesture.

“It is what it is and you know how Andreth is. She is headstrong and she will do as she will. You cannot forbid her to see him. She will always find a way.”

“I know,” Boromir said.

This would not be the last they discussed this, and for now he let it the matter drop, returning to his tepid meal of meat and summer vegetables.

*Boromir here is the First Age, of the House of Bëor.
