It's the third night of Hanukkah
Dec. 12th, 2020 05:02 pmand this is the most I have posted on the blog in so long. I kind of like posting. I should do it more. Maybe this should be a thing. I really have missed this community and I hope there are people here to read this. I got some stuff done today around the house - sold some DVD's - went out and got cat treats for my cat Bear because I have to have those - opened some boxes - I feel like I am always opening boxes and breaking down boxes. Major receiving of stuff here - I do a lot of that. More than I used to before the pandemic - I am getting more packages. Do you find that.
Also today - I was walking home from the record store and crossing a street - there was a couple and their dog walking in front of me - and seriously - a car almost hit them in the cross walk. I feel like there is this pandemic driving thing happening. People are driving like maniacs and are not following the rules of the road. At least once when I am out driving - I see someone blow through a stop sign or a red light - like they don't even have to stop. And people are driving really fast on the roads. I feel like people feel like it is the apocalypse and they can just drive however they want now or something. It seems to be a thing - it is happening enough that I am noticing. Pandemic driving. It is totally a thing.
Anyway - here is the menorah for tonight - three candles plus the shammash (middle candle) for the third crazy night. Hope all is well with you and stay safe and healthy!
