So I have entered some contests over at

winterscontests and I actually won. This is a growing community and anyone who is a graphics maker should join because it is very organized and the contests are VERY fun.

So the first contest was for a fairy tag and I won Third Place with this entry:

The next contest I entered was one for a Halloween blinkie. It was an open contest and we were allowed to choose our own blinkie to put in. I entered with this blinkie:

I have once again received the honor of a MEFA nomination. Thank you to

rhapsody11 for the vote of confidence in my work. I am thrilled and excited.

The story in question is entitled "And We Danced" and it is the love story of Aegnor and Fingon set in the First Age in Beleriand. I wrote it for

elveses for the Slashy Santa Swap 2006. I would like to give a big hug and thank you to

keiliss. She is an amazing beta and really helped me shape this story.

For the record, it is the first Aegnor story on that site as far as I can tell.

I am really stunned by this as I was not at all expecting it. I don't put out all that many stories but I do work very hard on them.

It is true you guys! Holy mother of ...whatever...

My story Voices on the Wind won second place in its category for the 2006 MEFA Awards. I am stunned more than I can express here. This is my first story. Well stunned and incredibly pleased.

Hola. I keep forgetting to do this so I am doing it today while I remember. My story Voices on the Wind got nominated for a MEFA this year. I finally found the buttons and am posting my nomination button.

I am really proud of the story and it is not about the winning but it was an honor to be nominated. Thanks to my nominator Rhapsody for believing in my story. Thank you to Inkling for being my liaison to the MEFA's. She is great and has helped me through the process.

I have not had much time to read over there but I will be making the time now. I voted for the MPA's which was fun. Woot.

I just have to figure out when to do everything for the MEFA's. *points at self* Clueless.
