Football is boring

phynckeThere, I have said it. I am watching the Super Bowl today but I have always found football to be a really boring game. Too many stops and starts and they spend more time between points than anything. Not very exciting. I prefer dueling games like tennis which is pretty non-stop action and very exciting to watch - a real test of wills and strategy. I know there is a strategy to football but it all gets lost to me with all the breaks they take. They say football is like warfare and a battle. I guess it is but it is super boring to me. I also don't like the brain injury thing. I don't feel like they should risk that for my entertainment.
I really did enjoy the Half Time show. I liked the staging and I found it interesting and I knew nothing about The Weeknd going into that. I looked up one of his videos in advance just to get a sense for that. I am not a fan of his but the show was visually interesting and that is what counts for a halftime show. I think he pulled it off. This did not convert me into a fan of his. I am not going to go out there and grab a bunch of his music or anything. It did not suck and that is something because sometimes it does suck.
So Tom Brady is doing his thing - he is getting those touchdowns and is ahead right now. He kind of makes it look easy. I don't think it is easy but he sure makes it look easy.
That's all I have. I don't really have any skin in this game so I don't really care. The ads are not very good this year. Nothing is standing out there either. Oh well.
