phynckeI have not started my Slashy Valentine. Not exactly freaking out but not feeling good about that either. I have a lot of research to do as I have characters that I am not familiar with at all. Augh! Totally out of my depth. I do like the challenge aspect of the challenge thing so that is good. I like to write out of my element. This is very outside my comfort zone. Oo
Other than that - things are good. Doing well at work. I relaxed today. Was going to do all sorts of things but I took a nap instead. That seems like the right decision. I am going for breakfast with a new aquaintance I met on this neighborhood website - I have met her before and she is a nice person. So that will be fun.
The holidays were good - mellow and restful.
What else - Emma Watson has started a feminist book group on goodreads so I joined that. We are reading My Life on the Road by Gloria Steinem. I am really enjoying the book so far - am two chapters in so far. Very well written and very interesting. My favorite part so far is how she refers to herself as a sort of celestial bartende. That was a very interesting descrip. So it is interesting. I really like Gloria Steinem - she was the commencement speaker at my college graduation - and very motivating. Really spoke to everyone - not just the women - so I really like her. She has been very important for the women's movement. Etc.
So that is the kind of thing I am thinking about. Hope all is well with you in your part of the world. Comments are welcome! :)

You need to post more - how about that as a 2016 goal? If more people did that, this place would get some of its old energy back.
