So I guess I am a closet Twilight person. I have stuck with the series the whole way through. Let me qualify this by saying - I hated the books but I think they made better movies. Stephanie Meyers is a terrible writer who needs to expand her vocabulary and descriptive sensibilities. Repetitive, she is very repetitive. I admit to not finishing all the books - I got up to the third one and cheated by reading summaries online. I might have cracked the fourth book but really was not going to read that long a book with her abysmal writing. Meyer fans just step back and refrain from commenting. I am not going to argue about it. I will just delete you.

Anyhoo. I really enjoyed the movies. I love Kristen Stewart and you can see how she progresses through the series from a gawky girl to an elegant woman/thing. She really is powerful in the last one and I went back and watched the first one again just to see how she was there. The character evolution is very good and well played by the actor. She is why I really watched the films. I am not a fan of Pattinson but I do like K. She cannot be all bad, I mean she played Joan Jett. Solid acting choice there! Also, she is beautiful in this last film. Stunning.

The last film really had some curves - no spoilers but it was compelling in a lot of ways. Satisfying and final. No chance of more movies and that is great. We are done. So (waves) I saw all of these films and liked them! Niener!

I read al the books in one weekend lol. I do agree with you about S Meyer though and I donated the books to the local book store. Maybe someone will enjoy having them. I read them once and it is nt something I would go back and read again.

The movies.. I did lose interest in most of it ( the vamp side) but I do still enjoy seeing the wolves. I did promise my daughter I would take her when the last movie came out and we are going on Thursday but for me personally It would not bother me if I missed seeing the last one. I don't hate the movies but I don't like them either. I'm more excited about going to see the Hobbit lol

I am really excited about the Hobbit and consider it a whole different thing than the Twilight movies - I am a LOTR fandom person so I am really into the Tolkien stuff. Altogether different for me. I have read and reread those books etc and they are sheer genius.
