So I guess I am a closet Twilight person. I have stuck with the series the whole way through. Let me qualify this by saying - I hated the books but I think they made better movies. Stephanie Meyers is a terrible writer who needs to expand her vocabulary and descriptive sensibilities. Repetitive, she is very repetitive. I admit to not finishing all the books - I got up to the third one and cheated by reading summaries online. I might have cracked the fourth book but really was not going to read that long a book with her abysmal writing. Meyer fans just step back and refrain from commenting. I am not going to argue about it. I will just delete you.

Anyhoo. I really enjoyed the movies. I love Kristen Stewart and you can see how she progresses through the series from a gawky girl to an elegant woman/thing. She really is powerful in the last one and I went back and watched the first one again just to see how she was there. The character evolution is very good and well played by the actor. She is why I really watched the films. I am not a fan of Pattinson but I do like K. She cannot be all bad, I mean she played Joan Jett. Solid acting choice there! Also, she is beautiful in this last film. Stunning.

The last film really had some curves - no spoilers but it was compelling in a lot of ways. Satisfying and final. No chance of more movies and that is great. We are done. So (waves) I saw all of these films and liked them! Niener!

Haven't seen this yet, but from your comments I'll give it a go. Not really a fan of Twilight, but it entertains me enough to see it.

I read al the books in one weekend lol. I do agree with you about S Meyer though and I donated the books to the local book store. Maybe someone will enjoy having them. I read them once and it is nt something I would go back and read again.

The movies.. I did lose interest in most of it ( the vamp side) but I do still enjoy seeing the wolves. I did promise my daughter I would take her when the last movie came out and we are going on Thursday but for me personally It would not bother me if I missed seeing the last one. I don't hate the movies but I don't like them either. I'm more excited about going to see the Hobbit lol

I am really excited about the Hobbit and consider it a whole different thing than the Twilight movies - I am a LOTR fandom person so I am really into the Tolkien stuff. Altogether different for me. I have read and reread those books etc and they are sheer genius.

I only saw the first movie. It was okay. Never read the books. I think I have a zip of the first one somewhere buried on my computer, though.

Oh, my! My good friend, [livejournal.com profile] rainpuddle13, would love you tremendously about right now! :D She loves Kristen, and hates how everybody dogs her out about not being able to act, and having no personality.

We are Twi-hard fans. I had no idea you were "in the closet." ;D

I loved it! Can't wait to get back to see it again! ♥

I would not call myself a Twi-hard person. I like them though and I like Kristen Stewart in the movies. Yep. I never have seen the movies more than once though I might consider owning them on DVD.

It was solid and I really enjoyed it. I did not like the books that much as I said but I really did enjoy the films and thought they were much better.

I could never get into Meyer's books at all in anything she wrote. People tell me I didn't give it a chance, no I did I just can't read any of her books. As for the movies, I haven't seen any of them but my brother has. He's got a crush on Kristen LOL. I have heard people say she can't act and I'm saying wha?? You need to get your eyes checked then because I think she can, a lot more than some other people that's for sure.

See - I really like Kristen Stewart. I like her choice of films and all that and if you go back and look at the first movie to the last in this series you can see the character progression. It is really something. I like her quite a lot.

I think Kristen is a great actress. I think I'm gonna see if I can get my hands on the 1st movie and who knows I might end up wanting to watch them all lol. I'm told it was really good. I just don't know why people say she can't act and they say mean stuff because she cheated on her boyfriend with that married guy. I keep thinking, everyone makes mistakes and I think she and Rob (was that the BF?) worked it out I guess. Either way, as an actress I think she's very solid. I could make a list of actresses I do not think CAN act but Kristen can in my opinion. I think she's got a very solid career ahead of her for sure :)

Read the books too but bated them. The movies make me mad b/c Stewart's "acting" sux big time! Her writing is horrible & I only read them b/c they were free. I'm a huge vampire fan but hate twilight w/a passion.
