Oscar Nominations 2016

Thought I would post the Oscar nominations for 2016. I have seen - Mad Max, Bridge of Spies and the Martian. I want to see Joy and The Big Short. One thing that is noteworthy is that there is a profound lack of diversity in these. Very few people of color - typical. Just a comment. They say that the people who vote on these are mostly - older and white so that is how they vote - like older white people. Maybe things have to change on that? Also - Ridley Scott was totally overlooked in the director category - what gives there?

It's time for a word meter...

So I have some words in the MS Word document. Not a lot but it is something.

 

220 / 1200 words. 18% done!

Enough to make me feel like all is not lost. I am not going to totally tank, sink, go down with the ship, hit the iceberg. How many sea metaphors can I come up with for failure here? Failure is not an option. I will pull it out. I have a reasonable idea that I think does not totally suck.

I am trying to reform how I eat to be more in line with his philosophy - Eat food, not too much, mostly plants. It is very simple and seems to be a good way to go.
