Graphicus Rantus Aheadus...
Jan. 8th, 2012 02:33 pmOh boy. Am I tired of temperamental makers and the way they get in a twist about how you request graphics. This is not rocket science, folks but honestly, my theory is that some of these people are on major power trips with this stuff and their rules. I got denied a graphic today and dared to question why. I am thinking I filled something out incorrectly but instead of clarifying with me, I was denied the graphic. I don't really need anything but the manner of the person gave me reason to comment and leave the community. I don't need this and really, I don't need anything as I can make things for myself. I guess the words "thank you" have lost their meaning and I need to be more obsequious and gushing in my commentary, not. It is not worship at the altar of graphics makers time. I don't expect that when someone requests from me nor will I do that to get something made for me. Simple language will do and kindness. The fact that people like my stuff is inherently complimentary.
Edit - it turns out that my "thank you" was not manners enough to get the graphic. More wording was necessary than that. I really get tired of that as I don't require more manners than that. IDK.
Interpret that!
Just some ideas for the graphics world:
-think about less rules (or no rules)
-be nicer to requestors, they are like customers. This kind of service would not fly in the corporate world.
-if someone makes a mistake, give them the graphic anyway! *revolutionary*
-stop being so b*tchy!
( My reply comment to the person who butted in... )
So there. Comments welcome on this. I will not mention the community this came out of or that I unsubbed, not going there. But this has got to stop. I don't post with any rules when I do graphics offers so what gives?
