Oh boy. Am I tired of temperamental makers and the way they get in a twist about how you request graphics. This is not rocket science, folks but honestly, my theory is that some of these people are on major power trips with this stuff and their rules. I got denied a graphic today and dared to question why. I am thinking I filled something out incorrectly but instead of clarifying with me, I was denied the graphic. I don't really need anything but the manner of the person gave me reason to comment and leave the community. I don't need this and really, I don't need anything as I can make things for myself. I guess the words "thank you" have lost their meaning and I need to be more obsequious and gushing in my commentary, not. It is not worship at the altar of graphics makers time. I don't expect that when someone requests from me nor will I do that to get something made for me. Simple language will do and kindness. The fact that people like my stuff is inherently complimentary.

Edit - it turns out that my "thank you" was not manners enough to get the graphic. More wording was necessary than that. I really get tired of that as I don't require more manners than that. IDK.

Interpret that!

Just some ideas for the graphics world:
-think about less rules (or no rules)
-be nicer to requestors, they are like customers. This kind of service would not fly in the corporate world.
-if someone makes a mistake, give them the graphic anyway! *revolutionary*
-stop being so b*tchy!

I am waiting for her comment and then leaving this comm. When I make graphics, if someone makes a mistake in requesting, I check with them and get clarification. I have never had to deny anyone anything, ever. I think that doing so hurts feelings and is bad mojo. Your comment is totally uncalled for and really out of line. But thank you for expressing yourself. I read it but have been making graphics for years and never have problems with my offers and have never denied anyone anything. I think requesting should be easy and fun and I am very busy online and professionally.

A quick comment to me with a "hey can you fix your form?" would have resolved the matter right there and not hurt my feelings or left me feeling like this.

This way, I feel bad that I did not get my graphic. I looked at my comment. I was polite and to the point. I don't expect people to gush at me to get graphics and phrase in a certain way. A thank you is really enough and that is as it should be. I don't see why people should jump through hoops when this is supposed to be fun. People make this way more complicated than it is.

I sincerely meant my thank you and I don't request a lot of graphics anyway.

Thanks for your comment but I don't really agree with you on most of your points about how I requested. You interpreted "a lot" there and read too much into the way I commented on that offer.

So there. Comments welcome on this. I will not mention the community this came out of or that I unsubbed, not going there. But this has got to stop. I don't post with any rules when I do graphics offers so what gives?
