So the weekend....

The weekend is here. I woke up at 6:00 am and it was raining so I got my little heinie right back under the covers and went right back to sleep for a couple of hours. I love the Saturday thing. So delicious.
I made myself a latte and checked the bedhead in the mirror. That is frightening but I live alone so no one sees me but me. And I don't have to see me unless I look in the mirror. So heh.
I am getting my hair done today. Dyed, color...all the grey GONE GONE GONE. Woo hoo. How fun is that. I will look younger again. Someone at work told me recently that I looked just over 30. Well bless their little heart! I am 41 now. So that was nice. I owe it all to color in a bottle and Walgreen's moisturizer. Heh.
So on to my thanks. Two days worth since I was off yesterday.
#10: Here is to modern medicine. It allowed my dad to have hip replacement surgery and now he lives pain free and can walk like a regular person again. It really is a marvelous thing. I am so glad that he had it done and I am sure he is too. Here is too modern medicine.
#11: Here is to all that free, unstructured time I had yesterday. I slept, I ran errands, I messed around, I read, I cooked...I just did whatever the heck I wanted and it was really nice to have a day to do that.
There we go.
