This is how we do it. Boom! The Giants won the World Series tonight (3-2). Unfortunately - I had to work tonight so I missed the game. My friends sent me play by play updates on my phone so I knew what was going on but no, I did not see the game. I am watching the post-game madness on the TV. Giants fans are a breed apart. I am sure there will be lots of arrests in the City tonight. Idiots. Anyhoo! I am so happy! We won! For the third time in five years - they rock!

I don't know what happened to my Giants - but this is not my team. I watched the beginning of the game - enough to see KC get a 7-0 lead and then I had to watch some DVR shows here and stop watching. I just could not take what was happening. Someone replaced my Giants with this pathetic excuse for a baseball team - I don't know. Checking from the web - it is at 10-0 now. I don't think they have a chance. I will watch the next game and hope for the best. My not-so-expert analysis is that it is pretty dependent on the pitching. KC just was tee-ing off on what the Giants pitchers were throwing. Get Bumgarner back in there and let's win this! Let's do this! Game seven here we come!!!!!!

I was in and out of the game watching - I knew they were in good hands with Bumgarner pitching tonight. He is awesome and so consistently gets the outs. STRIKES! Anyway. The Giants got two early runs which they later turned into a 5-0 win. This is good, very good.

The series is 3-2 for the Giants as they head to Kansas City. They have won series on the road before. I think they can do that this time. :)

So we were on the road for the beginning of the Giants game - and just listened to it on the AM radio in the car. That was enough to break the curse. :P The Giants were spectacular tonight. It started out with them down 4-1 for a while. KC got out to an early lead but then in the 6th inning - the glorious 6th - the Giants poured it on and started scoring, and scoring and scoring. They ended up with an 11-4 victory. I broke down and had to watch the game but that did not jinx anything. I think it does not matter really. The Giants really pulled it off tonight. Go SF!!! They have one more home game tomorrow night and then back to KC. They need to win tomorrow and then they will be in good shape.

The series is 2-2 right now so anything goes!

(I changed my layout to the clouds here because I saw some beautiful cloud formations today and was in the mood for that...gorgeous sky. So my head is in the cloud and so shall my journal be!)

So tonight was a huge disappointment as far as the Giants goes. They trailed 0-2 most of the early innings. Then they were one run down - and could not tie it! My friend J*** and I have concluded that we cannot watch the games anymore because we totally jinx the team. Every game that we have watched they have lost and when we just follow the game on our phones - they win. So we are going back to the following on the phone thing to see if that will help them win this thing. I know it sounds stupid but you never know. Baseball is a fickle mistress. :P So the Giants lost tonight 2-3 and it was agonizing.

Let's not talk about tonight - well only in hushed, sympathetic tones. Tred softly, my friends. The Giants lost 7-2 in a really lopsided game. Their pitching was not there - never hit its groove and the Royals totally went to town on them with a mid-game - 5 run inning that put this game out of reach. The Giants never really got their footing and that was too bad. The one good thing was that they put Timmy Lincecum in for a little bit of his freaky pitching and he did pretty well.

The next three games are in San Francisco so we will make this up there. The series is now tied 1-1 - so it is anyone's guess who will take it. I would like to see the Giants win the next three games and take the series at home! Yeah!

I may cheer for the San Francisco teams but Boston is my first love. Let's go Red Sox! Let's win this! World Series do or die time! They are up 6-0 and could take it all! I am psyched for my home town team! Playing at Fenway! It would be so poetic if they won here. They are dominating now and it does not really seem to matter who the Cardinals have pitching - they are hitting really well.

Let's go Red Sox! Boston rocks!
