In other news:

I am sick and resting this weekend. All bets are off for the Super Bowl tomorrow. I had plans but might have to cancel those depending on how I feel. I did a few errands today that I had to and then slept some and have been here resting. Have no tissues so I am using a roll of TP. How pathetic. Gah. People at work were sick and now, so am I. And I had BOTH flu shots. What good are they?

A good Sunday. A combination of getting things done and going out for fun.

I did the obligatory trip to the laundrymat and then went to hang with friends. We took a slow walk through Montclair Village which is in the hill area of Oakland. Nice neighborhood. Richy rich. I found a great little hallway desk in an antique shop for not too much money. I put a deposit on it and will pick it up after payday next month.

Of course I took a picture of it.

It is a nice one. I will use it for my hallway as you come into my apartment. It will be my phone and keys table. Ya ya. Love that. Right now I have this rickety thing. I am happy.

As I was driving home, I was thinking how lovely this area is and how beautiful the trees are. I always think that I should stop and take a shot of them for my blog here. So I did. I don't know what kind of trees these are but they sure are pretty.
