I have never seen the sunlight in her hair or reflected in her eyes, so blue as to be the sky’s imagining. To me she is of the trees and their silvery light or of the time of darkness, when all we had were Varda’s stars before I left for these lands.

It seems that there is gold woven through her tresses and it would catch Vása’s light.

“My Amarië…”

I will dream of her as I do nightly, and fall into sleep, imagining we are together again, once my duties are fulfilled or I come to some such end.
