So this year the holidays converge and Hanukkah and Christmas are at the same time. Today is the first night of Hanukkah and it is Dec 25. This hardly ever happens. I am going to be quick as I am recovering from a fall and a back injury so here is the photo from night one.

I hope you are feeling better, dear. Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah.

You know, I was at the gym this morning, and there is a supermarket across the street, and I was looking at its door while I did some cardio and I couldn't understand a message on the front door. My gym is on the second floor and Vivanda (the store) is on the first floor. I thought, I'm old and my eyes and weakening (I use my glasses while training), but when I finished and went to Vivanda to buy a few things the message was in Hebrew, and it was about Hannukah. That was why I could see the letters but couldn't read the words. *smile*

It's in Spanish now. I cannot remember the first line, but the rest is: les desea feliz Hanukah. It's we wish you a Happy Hanukkah (Januca is how it's written now, which is how we would read it in Spanish). The message was signed. I'll check into it next time I go. =)

I am retired now, and I love working with machines at the gym. I'm feeling great.
