Even if he won the nomination, I doubt he could become president. I like to think there are enough sensible people who would vote for whoever the Democratic candidate was purely to keep him out of the White House, but the fact that it's a possibility is mind blowing. Just the thought that there are people who would be happy to put that man in charge of a nuclear arsenal...

(okay, our president is also an idiot but at least we're a small country and can't do much harm outside of our borders)

I just think that the Republicans were ridiculous to have that many candidates and to allow that many people to run for president. Their debates were laughable and the whole campaign so far was a farce for them. Trump cannot be president but he has taken our national attention off of important issues. He is a total distraction. He makes things up and basically lies. Awful man.

I agree. By treating him as funny people are not taking notice of just how terrible he really is. He could walk into the presidency simply because people are not treating the issue as seriously as they should.

I agree. It would be disastrous if he were elected. I am not sure what I would do - move to Canada? Where people are reasonable?
