I know. I always get her birthday notification and it makes me think about her. I miss her.

I thought about her a lot in the last few weeks, as I uploaded old stuff to AO3. She came into fandom maybe a month or two after me and we became friends, two noobs keeping each other company in the maze that fandom was back then. Then she made other friends but was still such a good friend. I miss her. When I was away from LJ I often thought of fandom, sometimes even daily and she was always a part of those thoughts.

I love that the people who have moved on are still remembered like this. I had a 'pause and think' few moments when I got her birthday notification.
