Oscars are upon us!

phyncke18 minutes away from the red carpet goodness. Here we are for Oscars 2011. The crudites have been cut, the guacamole purchased, we got chips. I am ready eddy for the awards ceremony today. I have a friend coming over and we will be donning tiaras for this year's Oscars Show 2011. Much silliness to ensue.
The pre-show starts at 2pm here in PST land and then the ceremony itself starts at 5:30 pm PST. (other time zones noted here: 8:30 EST - 7:30 CEN- 6:30 MNT - USA). I suggest checking a time zone site for international time zones.
My favorite for Best Picture is The King's Speech. I have not seen nor do I wish to see The Black Swan. I do like Natalie Portman but that movie did not appeal to me as a psycho drama-thriller thing and ballet is not an interest of mine. I do look forward to seeing her in Thor which is coming out later this year. So yays. See this post for the list of those nominated.

Anyways. I am looking forward to the glitz and glam and hope the show delivers some entertainment and laughs. Yays!
