So I am really really done with my AiA story. I posted it up to the archive and got it totally done. I had to do some last minute editing but it is finished. Thanks to aglarien1 for the expert beta on this one.

Now I just have to worry about it now with all of that. I enjoyed writing it so that is kind of fun.

Hope all is well with you and yours. I will write more of a post later. I am feeling kind of tired right now.

Congrats!!!! It's such a relief to have every thing wrapped up, ain't it?

I finished mine last night. I wrote it in three bouts. I don't think it's my best story ever, no, but in the end, for the trouble I had picturing the pairing, hopefully it's not too bad. It's off to beta now. *uff*

I finally have the first third of my story and know where I am going - right up to the pivotal scene at the end which I haven't a clue about. Hoping it talks to me before I get there. Been a strange process this time.

I like that Glorfindel too, yes. I have a set with him, Erestor and Gildor that Red found and put together for me :)

Fic is now over 7,000 words and I'll be lucky if it's done in 12,000 (yes, I have an extension). No idea how it'll get betad, Red's not going to have time for something that big plus writing plus rough hours at work. Just --- cannot worry about it. Going one step at a time.

*goes back to write more, has written more in three days than is normal in a month*

Sounds like it is going. :) I could give it a read for you if you want. I have time since I am done with mine. Let me know if you need me to. I can definitely check it for typos etc and to be sure it makes sense. So let me know on that.

Fics are like that - they grow out of control - my 3k word fic turned into a 7k word fic.

I wish I'd seen what to do with this sooner, there is so little time left to get it finished and 'right'. I would so appreciate it if you could read over it, Jane (assuming it ever gets finished - just goes on and on and on :( ). How much time would you need to work through something 12 - 14k long?

I am sure it is a great story. It might take me 2 days what with work and all. Agie's was that long and I got it done faster but I will be more conservative with my estimate. I am sure it will go fast as you are a light beta. I am looking forward to reading it.

I'm trying to estimate how long it'll take me to get it to the stage where it's beta-ble (no such word, is there?) I've ended up with 15k and a couple of holes I have to sort out.... I'm meant to be working now and instead I am LOOKING for other things to do, lol. Brain wants a break from the story and there just isn't time. If I can get it finished tomorrow, I'll send it to you, if not I might have to just polish as best I can and shove it up there anyhow - I'll see how things look tomorrow and come find you, okay?
