Writing update...

Here is where I am at --

1045 / 3000 words. 35% done!

And I honestly don't know how it is. I am moving it along. That is about all I can say. I have to start putting in the key elements of the prompt so I better keep that in mind. Yeppers. Best not to forget the whole point of it.

I am determined that the story be a reasonable length. 3000 is my outside. No mas! No mas!

How is everyone doing on theirs? Feel free to comment with an update or post your own.

There are times when I have spent a lot of time researching the story and then writing goes faster. That can be good!

This is the problem with having done the lotr_comm Yule swap AND SeSa --- wrote a lot, wrote hard, did things I was emotionally attached to and that turned out as I'd hoped they would, and now my brain is saying wait, you want more? Are you NUTS?

i reached 1623 words today and i think it's about half way done. I knew what i would write the moment I got my assignment it's just a matter of making me sit down and actually get some writing done.

I have my idea and about 500 words but of course that's just the opening scene, lol. But its a good start I think :)
