I had today off and relaxed. Here is the update in blurb fashion -

-I rented the movie The Master - which is loosely based on the life of L Ron Hubbard and the early days of Scientology/Dianetics. This is one of my pet interests right now. I am reading books on Scientology - exposing its real nature and find the whole thing very fascinating. Apologies to anyone who follows this "religion". I find it really farcical and more like science fiction than a religion. I cannot relate to it really but on an academic level and its history shows how vulnerable people really are to hypnosis and external influences. The "religion" was designed to make money first and foremost, no mistaking that. Anyways - it all makes interesting study from an objective view and it is surprising how many celebrities are into it. That was part of their strategy too and they actively recruited prominent people. Huh.
-I went to the doctor today. I felt like I had a UTI or bladder thing going on. I won't have conclusive results on my test on that until Saturday. Best to err on the side of caution where these things go.
-Teddy is a love. I can hear him purr from across the room. LOL.
-I changed my layout to one of my old favorites. Love this one. I was not feeling the other one.

Yeah, Scientology seems pretty odd to me from what I've read.

It is odd which is why I find it so interesting. This is one of my fave layouts. I love my icon to go with it etc.

Must see that movie. It's amazing what folk will believe.

Make sure you are drinking enough fluid, especially if you have different meds. In my experience, as we get older we become more susceptible to bladder infections etc. Cranberry juice is meant to be a good thing to drink to help avoid cystitis.

This movie was good - uncomfortable in bits and weird as I think the Scientologists are. Very strange stuff but the movie is really good and very well acted. It is about the early days of it. Fascinating really.

Not sure I even have one. It showed no bacteria at first but I have to check on Saturday to follow up as they grow the culture etc. Will see. Best to be sure of these things.

I try not to comment much on religion, but I totally agree. Scientology is WAY out there, man. Way. Far. Out. There.

I haven't really dove into the whole thing but from what I am hearing to me Scientology is very odd. Maybe it's just me but I don't think so.. I don't actually consider it a religion either.

I hope it's not a UTI. Those are not any fun :(

Scientology is my latest pet thing to study right now. They are wackadoodle but so interesting. Just nuts.

lol wackadoodle. I like that! Yeah the whole "religion" seems odd. My friend was talking about "checking it out" but apparently her family put their foot down so. I don't know.

I can understand not having time to call, hopefully you can call and find out what the results are. Don't they send you a letter letting you know what the results are? My doctor does that or she'll post it on the online account...
