Happy Friday...

I am glad it is Friday. I am pretty much dealing with daily pain right now and I have issues with my upper and lower back. To quote my chiropractor - my back is a mess. I should rest off the computer so I am going to try and take more time off from graphics and really recuperate. It feels better when I relax so I better do that.

My raise came through on my paycheck and that was a nice bump up there. Yahoo.

I am playing with layouts in dreamwidth and cannot find one that allows a header. Does anyone know one that you can customize on there? Leave me a comment if you know of one.

My shoulder is a mess too but it's playing and lifting that messed it up, as usual. Ice and nsaids are my friends.

I want to know how to do a header too. I've been crossposting from DW too.

I recommend heading over to Stye_System (http://style-system.dreamwidth.org/). It's a non-official DW community and the members have helped a lot of users get custom CSS codes to allow for headers in different kinds of layouts. I'd check the tags before you make a request, though, just to make sure they haven't already given code for the specific layout to someone else.

The official dreamwidth styles are the same for every account level, as far as I know. There is a limitation on the 'built-entirely-from-scratch' layouts, though, you can only have a certain amount of those and be able to save them and have them ready to switch out at any time.

People found special coding to get LJ style layouts on DW, but they count as a custom layout.

hmm.. I have a header, but I know it was tricky to get my layout style over at DW... I think I just googled for the style that I use here for DW and got someone explaining it to me.
right now I have "Current Theme: (No Theme) by Michael Raffoul for Smooth Sailing"
