Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane's successful attempt to put together a baseball club on a budget by employing computer-generated analysis to acquire new players.
This movie is on my DISH right now and I saved it to the DVR. I love this movie and while it is an interesting movie about this interesting way of getting players, the real gem of this movie is Brad Pitt's performance as the Oakland A's General Manager. He is just so good here and really shows his range. He really lives and breathes this role. Jonah Hill is also very good as the brain behind their method.
More than just a baseball movie and very well done film.
