One event down, one to go...

This week has been really busy. I have two events. One was today and I styled it on an English tea. Served little sandwiches - cucumber and cream cheese, salmon and cream cheese, ham and so on. Also - we did scones and jam and cream, fruit tray, strawberries dipped in chocolate and these cookie triangle things, umm British shortbread cookies, that were so delicious. Anyways, the event was a smashing success, we had more people show up than signed up on our website and the students seemed to really enjoy the program.

This all makes me happy and makes me feel like I am doing my job right. I really feel a sense of accomplishment when all things align for a good event.

Sunday, I have a donor event that I am nervous about and will see how that goes. I will be logging some comp time this weekend so that is good. I am ready for this week to be over and it is an extra long week.
