As someone who was born and raised in Massachusetts, it is with sadness that I mark the passing of Teddy Kennedy. As with all the Kennedies there is ambivalence about him and his personal life. He had his incidents and issues. One cannot deny that he contributed much to the American political scene as a Senator for so many years. He has been a stable force. I am watching his funeral right now and it amazing who is there--Obama, Bush, Clinton, Carter...anyone who is anyone in politics. Just amazing.
