phynckeActually having fun at work today. We are giving out money to potential students and it is like Christmas here. Happy people, everywhere. I work in graduate education and we are awarding fellowships today so we are giving out money. Not that we have alot because it is a public institution but still....
These awards will make or break someone's academic career so, this is a very important thing. Wish we had more funds. Money is tight in the public sector right now and Arnold does not make it any easier.
It feels good, though. It is on days like this that I really like my job and really like working in education. Making it possible for students to get their education is very rewarding.
