spacebee and have been thinking all day about my odditees. They are not
so much oddities as things that make me a little quirky. Ok, strange. I just readlarian's and we
have some similiar habits....heh. I will post them and you can draw your own conclusions.
1. The Blue Cheese Dressing thing...
Whenever I order a salad out, eat a salad in or have a salad anywhere, I must have blue cheese dressing on it.
No exceptions. I love blue cheese dressing. It is bad for me, and fattening but I like it so there. I will not have
the salad if there is no blue cheese dressing available. It is just how I am. I also prefer it with chunks of
blue cheese in it, if possible.
2. Must have a beverage....
When I sit at the computer. Either hot or cold. Soda, tea, coffee or whatever. I am always sitting by the computer
with a beverage. I have had accidents and ruined keyboards because of this and have had to replace keyboards when
I spilled said beverage onto the keyboard. I will not change. I am stubborn. Right now I am drinking a chai tea I got
at my local cafe and I am quite happy about that fact.
3. I alphabetize....
Books and CD's. They are on the shelf by author or band name. The only exception to this rule is the "To be read..." area
in my book collection. Yes, I obsessively separate out my books and keep an area for books that I have not read. I probably
should have that as a separate oddity but I am keeping that in here as this one.
4. Star Wars viewing...
I have seen Stars Wars, the first one, now known as episode 4, no less than 25 times. Possibly more. My brother and i would go
every week to the $1.50 show each week in our home town of Medford, MA and sit there soaking it up. We ate popcorn, drank soda and
were happy campers. I used to know all the dialogue by heart. Especially that of Princess Leia.
5. I use an electric blanket...
My bedroom has no heat here. I keep it on number 5 most of the time. My cat loves it at all times of day. I have a habit of forgetting
to turn it off. Come to think of it, my electric bill is a bit high! Ack.
6. I have a really old car....
A 1988 VW Jetta GL. It is a tank , a grey tank. It has below 100k miles and runs like a dream.
7. Online obsession....
I obsessively read my RPG's and LJ's each day without fail. I admit it. I am an addict. I do not update my journals as much as I do but I
do keep up with my RP's. Heh.
