Tragedy in Illinois...

phynckeSo I have not seen anything on the friendslist about the tragedy in Illinois. It turns out he was on medication and had stopped taking his prescribed pills. Another case of a person gone haywire. What a shame. I have worked in the field of social work and it is common for young men in that age group to be resistant to the medication thing when they are diagnosed with mental illness. Very typical. What a shame.

I am sure it will come out that he had some diagnosis. But right now that story is very vague...in fact there is no information on what he had or if he even has a clinical mental illness.
Details will emerge I am sure.
How sad. He was a grad student too. Oh dear.
