40/100 2 Broke Girls (television review)
Jun. 4th, 2012 07:54 pm2 Broke Girls (2011 - 2012)
Television series on CBS
Summary: (A&E website)
Caroline and Max are twenty something girls who are trying to make money, perpetually broke and have the idea to make a go of it with a cupcake business in New York City. They both work together at a greasy spoon diner and wear ugly waitress uniforms. Caroline is a society girl who's father was indicted for fraud in a ponzi scheme and so she is ostracized from her former circles.
I heart this show. I record it each week on my DVR just in case I forget to watch it. Don't want to miss it. It is not always the funniest thing there but I love the in between scene music and I am a big fan of Kat Dennings (of Thor fame and other Indie movies). I do admit that some of the jokes on this show fall a little flat and it tries too hard to be a "sitcom" but I will tune in each week to see Garrett Morris (the old timer from SNL) dispense words of wisdom.
Any way...the is kind of like cotton candy at the fair. Delicious to eat but it quickly dissolves. Note this ended for the season weeks ago and I just got around to watching the final show with a special appearance by Martha Stewart.

Overall rating:
Good and I totally relate.
Recommend:
Sure, if you want!
Warnings:
Girls in NYC. Kind of light.
