Aspirin as a cancer preventative...

I just saw this on the news. Aspirin has more benefits and can prevent cancer when taken in a daily dose. I thought I would post this to the flist. Aspirin also has other benefits too but here is the link to the story. There are three studies being released today on this and it is worth noting:

Perks of the profession...

Tonight I went to an event planners dinner on Commodore Cruise Ships. They have these sessions so that we can sample the goods and see what they have to offer for events, meetings and gatherings. Lordy, we had the following for the buffet:

-prime rib
-london broil
-champagne chicken
-seasonal veggies
-potatoes
-rice
-caesar salad
-fresh rolls
-butter - perfect and spreadable
-two kinds of dessert - cheese cake and chocolate mousse cake
-coffee and all sorts of beverages

-glass of champagne as you entered and met the owner.

It was fun but I ate too much. I am eating broth tomorrow to make up for being little miss piggy. I am trying to think about how I can have events on the boats. So fun. I have been on their cruises for 4th of July and they are really fun and the service is excellent.
