Here is today's selection...

I chanced to look at the Gay Body Blog - a real treat for any woman on the look out for eye candy... there is always an intersection where the interests of gay men and het woman collide. Yessiree. So here we have Jakub Stefano in a nice enticing pose. I believe we have seen him before judging from the pictures in my directory. Worth another look.

In other news...

So far so good this weekend. I went to the mall yesterday...the large indoor one in Pleasanton, CA and did a bit of retail therapy with some gal pals. My friend R*** needed some interview clothes, J*** needed some professional clothes and I am trying to step up my game little bit at work too. I was good and resisted the lure of the jeans (always a thing for me) and got the following:

-brown p-coat style blazer in light material
-dress pants for work - black Michael Kors brand
-3 shirts at Nordstrom from the sale rack (their name brand - Sevour) and good for work
-some socks (a gift from R)
-ordered a striped shirt from JJILL to be shipped to my home

We ate out at The Cheese Cake Factory and I did treat myself to a piece of the cheese cake. My preference is the plain flavor as I don't like it to be too busy. R*** and I split a meal as the portions are massive there. I was plenty full. Great mashed potatoes.

Today I am getting a pedicure and then might try to start mapping out some writing projects and see where that goes. I have to get started on my OEAM Big Bang or I am sunk. Not sure what I was thinking as I am heading into a very busy time at work. I have to see what I can actually do. Are we allowed to use existing projects for the Big Bang? I do have a WIP that I want to finish. That might work if we can do that.

My opinion on the state of graphics on LJ...

So someone posted and asked people what they thought of graphics makers and graphics communities and my inner yawl came to the fore and all this stuff churned up. I let fly with this ranty comment. I really did but it was how I genuinely felt. Comments were screened so no one else could see them but I want to show my peeps here what I said and see what you all think of this.

Feel free to comment to this post with what you think. I really want to solicit opinions and am leaving this post open. Please, no drama llamas. This is not about anyone. I am ask about the graphics world on LJ and it is not directed against anyone in particular. Nor was my rant. My rant was a general comment on trends that I see. No one take it personally or take it how it is - as my opinion on trends in the graphics communities.
