So we left Fort Bragg yesterday and took the long windy drive down Route One south through Gualala, Point Arena, Jenner and Bodega Bay. I just love this part of the California Coast line. It is so beautiful.

Today's pics are of the Mendocino Botanical Gardens which are just outside of Fort Bragg on the way south and are so very lovely. They have the best view of the coast line I have seen and are tended so well. It is just wonderful. These were started years ago by a retired nursery owner and then later taken over by parks and recreation. Just beautiful. As we walked through the dahlias were in bloom so I shared a picture of those.

The next phase of our vacation is the museum and cultural part. Today we are going to Golden Gate Park and to the California Academy of Sciences and to the deYoung Museum to see the King Tut Exhibit. Yays!
