Vacation Report 03: Mendocino Coastline

khylea on her camera. I took some too but the quality is just so much better from her camera that I will share her video. This is of the beach just outside of Fort Bragg, Glass Beach.
Glass Beach used to be the local dumping place here and then it was reclaimed by nature to form this sparkly, glittery beach of glass shards. If Thingol were around he would absolutely love this gem of a place. It literally shines in the evening sun. Here is a link to the wiki article on it (short):

The views are magical here and we spent the day exploring the town, shopping and we found THE BEST sandwich shoppe ever (Cirino's Sandwich Shop on E. Laurel Street). Just a great find. I had a nice morning coffee at a local cafe too (Headlands Coffee House). For me, it is all about where to get a good cup of coffee, you know? Total addict here.
