Not lost, yet found....
Jan. 15th, 2007 11:38 amSo a day off here in the ponderosa and I am drinking one of those endless cups of coffee. I keep reheating it in the micro when it gets cold. Still tastes good to me. *nod*
I have been organizing and tidying the palatial estate...*coughs* and lo and behold what do I find, but a painting that I bought about a year ago, all wrapped up in its paper from the gallery and not hung up. It is a lovely painting and I do remember buying it now but I had put it away thinking to hang it when I had time and simply forgot about it. O.o. It is just a stunning piece of work by a local artist named Ed Terpening. It is of Sea Ranch which is north of San Francisco on the coast.
( Here is a digital shot of the painting... )
The colors are much more vibrant in person, but this gives you an idea of what it looks like. It is very serene and I love sunsets.
I am going to make pancakes for brunch and then go in search of those things you need to hang paintings with. I am all out.
Cheers and have a good day.
