Gakked from [livejournal.com profile] alexcat...seemed like the thing to do on this Sunday morning over a cup of Peet's coffee. Peet's is the only coffee IMHO.

1-How do you feel right now? Very good though groggy since I just woke up. I am just taking my first sips of a very strong cup of coffee and have not achieved my caffeine buzz.
2-How many people do you truly consider as your friends, not acquaintices?? 5 real friends and 4 online buddies.
3-What is directly in front of you at this very minute? My iMAC and my collection of Tolkien literature.
4-What are you wearing? My pajamas---yellow baggie top and flowered pants.
5-What are you listening to? Norah Jones, Come Away With Me
6-What are you plans for the evening? It is morning so for the day I plan on cleaning and then going for a walk. Have to call my parents today too.
7-What's the last thing you ate? Gourmet pizza (last night's dinner)
8-Are you having a good hair day? Not yet...I need some serious help!

Feel free to steal away. It was fun to fill it out. Thanks [livejournal.com profile] alexcat. That was like a form of LJ therapy. Heeeee.

So it is not as though I do not have enough books or anything but I got two more Lord of the Rings related reference books this week that I am all excited about. The reason I mention them today is that I bought one of them (an atlas) this very night. Impulse purchase.

They are:

The Atlas of the Middle-Earth
by Karen Wynn Fonstad

The Complete Tolkien Companion
by J.E.A. Taylor

I am in love with the atlas book because I am in RPG's and I am always trying to figure out where in Arda things are happening or where they should go or how to get from one place to another in a way that makes sense. This book will be invaluable for plotting story lines or those potential fics that I might want to write. Meeep. I have a few buzzing around in my head.

The Complete Tolkien is an A-Z reference so I can look things up easily. Very nifty. A good tool for when I do not want to use Encyclopedia of Arda online.

All in all these were two good finds. I spent money that I should not but then again I always do.

Cheers and goodnight.
