I don't know if this is possible for you, but I have been astounded by how much money I'm 'saving' by using my library. (They print it on every receipt.) The first year was over $800 and this past year was over $1,000! Another thing I like about using the library is that I can read books I might not have spent the money to buy, just to try them out. I've really broadened my reading that way.
