Really nice Sunday...

phynckeSo today was a very good day. I went out with my friend J*** and her son, N*** and we went to Alameda, CA. We stopped at the gourmet market and I got a few macarons and then we went to the park by Alameda Beach. It was a gorgeous day, in the seventies and nice and sunny out. We walked on the beach and then in the park. Saw all sorts of birds - flocks of geese, an egret and some ducks. Very cool. I got my food shopping done for the week and in general had a very nice day.
My back is feeling a little better. The walking was good for it. I have been icing it all weekend and I think activity is good for it. I am going to make a point of taking a good stroll every day. I do walk to and from work but more walking might be better.
Anyhoo. That is my report. I hope you all had a great weekend. Back to work tomorrow. La!
