Weekend Update ....

phynckeHere I am with a weekend update. I just got back from my friend's club where I did a hot tub and relaxed at the facilities. It is nicely situated in the Berkeley Hills with views of all the bridges and the bay all a glitter from the veranda. Really nice.
Yesterday I hung out with my friend J***. She needed some gal pal action as she is dealing with some devastating things happening. Her oldest friend from childhood is dying from complications due to a congenital heart condition. Long difficult story and much sadness. I took her for a manicure, then we went to some plant nurseries and gathered ingredients for a BBQ complete with burgers, corn and other fixings. It was a good day and my strategy of distraction worked. She had a good time.
Today I did some launderama stuff and tonight I think I will go food shopping to stock for the week. I don't really celebrate Easter so it was a low key day.
Hope all who do celebrate had good times with family and enjoyed the meaning of the holiday.
