The new me!

phynckeSo I have been thinking all week about this and I made the appointment days ago. I wanted to do something different with my hair. It had grown out of its style and all I could do with it was wear it up in a scrunchy. It was driving me nuts to be honest. I was also getting my color done...so I thought, what the heck?
I arrive at my hair salon and tell my stylist-dude...."You can do whatever you want..." He gives me a dumbfounded look. Then I say..."But I want a change...and I am thinking short..." He went to town and I have never seen a happier hair person in my life. He had a ball. I mean the man glowed. I have to say I was a bit nervous as big pieces of my hair fell to the floor....but I let go and left it all up to the hair gods.
So here are the results. I am posting a few silly pictures so you can see my new doooooooo!
I also made it the total beauty day and got a French manicure with the nail person. That is something I never do. It was like a spa day for me right here in town. I feel like a total girlie girl and if you knew me, you would know how NOT me that is.
To cap it all off, I took myself out for lunch at the local Mediterranean restaurant. It was delicious. I had a completely self indulgent day.
