Les Miserables (movie trailer)
Sep. 29th, 2012 11:25 pmSo, in the movie theaters lately, they have been showing this snippet preview before the film. A little bit about the making of the movie of Les Miserables. I have never seen the Broadway musical of this but I keenly anticipate this movie. From what I understand, they filmed this musical differently than the standard movie musical - all the singing was done at the same time as the acting - kind of in a "live shoot" of the voice part. Usually the vocals are recorded and laid over - but they hope to have a more real and visceral experience with this film by having the vocal be truly a part of the making of the movie. I am explaining this badly but it seems so important to me. A real difference. I am very excited about this film. I don't know much of the music. So I will see this.
Movie Trailer: (sorry about the ad in front)
Lots of star power in this film and people I like - Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Ann Hathaway and others. There is a lot pulling me to see this movie. I do hope to see the live show but cannot always afford those.
I have great hopes for Les Miserables the movie and hope that it will work as a film.
