I wear that thing so much it is worn out. You have to have the little black sweater - three quarter sleeve and a blend. The collar was coming unraveled and it was looking kind of sad. This is a go to thing in my wardrobe and given the weather here - it is more like a jacket for me than anything else. More often than not, I just throw the cardigan over a shirt or blouse and away I go. It is a nice professional look for work.

So I got two new cardigans at Macy's - a black - the necessary one and I will try a dark brown one too and see if these will last a bit longer if I have two of them.

Gotta have the black, trying the brown. I am really pleased with what I got and here is the link to what they have at Macy's.

A basic for everyday!

On the Republican Convention tonight. It might be a factor of me being too tired or something. I find it interesting that they are playing the Latino card a few times at this convention - key speakers of Mexican or Latino descent to hint at their diversity in an ethnic and socio-economic sense. Trying to get away from the fact that we all know the Republicans are party that represent the interests of the rich. Sort of playing that down. Clint Eastwood was obnoxious in his role play, acting thing. I found that totally obnoxious and I think he could have done better - guess he is an actor but I found it nervy of him to play act Barack Obama.

I don't despise Mitt Romney after this. He is not a bad person. I just don't want him as President. CNN calls his speech good enough. He was not exciting and he was not inspirational. His delivery is a little flat. CNN is calling it predictable and competent. Solid. He was not bad but not inspiring to me. I don't mind him but it was not enough to swing my vote. I don't think it was enough to swing votes. I did enjoy his anecdotes about his family and his parents marriage. That was nice.

I guess I do have some thoughts after all. My mind was blank when I opened the entry. Seriously.
