I still hate Mondays...

I took today off today. I called in sick and am totally enjoying my day relaxing, drinking coffee, watching my special features on my new Hunger Games DVD, wearing PJ's all day, hanging with Ms. Thing etc.

I had a really good weekend - saw Expendables 2 (very good and action packed movie, makes me want to see the first one) and went to the farmer's market and Oakland Zoo on Sunday.

I guess I am not all that thrilled with my projects right now and so don't really have that much fun at work at the moment. I am working on a retirement party with this person that is totally rude and am working on a donor party that I don't even get to go to. That is pretty good as I don't spend my weekend going to events. Anyways - I need to amp the professionalism and get these things done. I am waiting for my raise to come through and that will make things better or I will feel better. I am due a big retro-active payment and then an increase. I want my money.

Anyhoo. This Hunger Games DVD is very good. I am loving the companion special features - casting notes, about the books etc. Very fun. I really love the universe and think that the books were well realized on film.

Anyhoo - how is your Monday? I am glad I skipped mine.
